Pivovar 66
Brewery 66 can be found near the autodrome in Sosnová u Česká Lípa.
However, our story began in a small house between the current brewery and the mysterious Stone House, a place shrouded in legends. It was there that the alchemist Georg Abert once searched for a recipe for gold. We discovered something else there – the magic of hops and malt.
The name of our brewery comes from the address Sosnová 66 and a logo inspired by the legendary Route 66.
This symbol of travel, freedom and adventure perfectly describes our approach to brewing beer. It is here, where life was alive until late in the nineties, that we decided to create a place where history, honest craftsmanship and a desire to seek new directions meet.
The labels of our beers reflect the motoring atmosphere, which is reflected not only in our logo, but also in our passion for cars, motorbikes and freedom on the road. And yes – beautiful women on the labels have their place. They are a reminder of the former brothel that operated here in the wild nineties.
Today, this building has been transformed into a space where a completely different kind of passion is created – beer.
We tune each recipe with our heart, we are not afraid to experiment and try new combinations of flavors and beer styles. We combine traditional Czech ingredients with foreign and exotic ones – from classic Žatec hops to unconventional ingredients from the other side of the world.
There is a bit of alchemy in our beer, enthusiasm and courage to seek the unknown – and this is what gives it its unique character.
We brew what we like, and we believe that you will like it too.
