Black Rose Blending Co.
We are a very small fermentation project, that laid down its roots as an even smaller side project at Funk Factory Geuzeria. We operate mainly as a brewery focused on the production of oak-fermented, mixed-culture ales, and sometimes as a winery centered around the production of minimal-intervention sparkling wine, dry cider, and piquette.
We aren’t concerned with adhering to style guidelines or conventions. This is a liquid art project with the freedom to create unique, interesting, and thoughtful ferments without constraints.
We don’t have a flagship and we don’t have seasonals. Most of our releases are one-offs that reflect a certain idea, or a unique barrel or ingredient, and may never be recreated. Small-batch by intent, and sometimes from necessity.
