Sapphire Mountain Cellars
Sapphire Mountain Cellars is a family owned and operated state of the art winery located in the Walla Walla Valley of southeastern Washington. Our goal is to produce world class wines specializing in elegant Burgundy style wines, Bordeaux style blends, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Our grapes are sourced from some of the finest vineyards in eastern Washington and future releases will include some estate wines from our vineyards planted in 2006. Founded in late 2003 our first 2004 Vintage released in May 2006 is about 325 cases of Chardonnay using grapes from the Conner Lee Vineyards, Columbia Valley. Our 2004 Red wines will be released in 2007 and our 2005 Chardonnays will begin to be released in the summer of 2006 through 2007, approximately 900 cases. We moved into our own state of the art facility in late 2005.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
