Marcegis (Marcegorz, Marsegis) – dark bottom-fermented beer, typically barley with light foam. In medieval times, the water to barley ratio was 4,700/3,500 liters. From the very beginning, this beer contained local Silesian hops, usually from Ziębice or Gliwice.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt.
