The Brasserie Coopérative et Participative de l’Orne was born in July 2018 by the will of 19 citizens of Mont-Saint-Guibert and neighboring municipalities. They wanted their cooperative, with a social purpose, to produce a local, participatory and environmentally friendly beer. These objectives, included in our charter, in line with the goals of the transition, will take precedence over the search for profit and will guide all of our decisions. Our brewery, located in the brewing room of the former large brewery of Mont-Saint-Guibert, launched its first Ornoise brew in February 2018 with organic ingredients from Wallonia and a little further afield.
