The story of the OostEke brewers started with a passion for our Belgian beer; the typical anecdote of a hobby that got out of hand. But when we started brewing at home a few years ago, we never dared to think that it would get this far… Since 2014 we started developing our own recipes and we make modern but artisanal beers, driven by a Belgian tradition.

Thanks to our close collaboration with a supplier of color label printers, we are able to provide our beers with your own label. And this even for small quantities.

Since 2018 we have our own ‘cuddle’ brewery. A micro brewing installation, a three-boiler installation with a capacity of 2hl per brew and 8 fermentation tanks. This gives us the opportunity to play with different flavors and recipes to our heart’s content. And it also makes it possible to brew on small volumes for companies and associations. It is also the ideal setting for a brewing workshop or a beer event.

However, because 2hl is a very limited quantity to be able to commercialize our beers, we also work with a few local breweries that brew the recipes we developed in batches of 20, 40 or 60hl.

We have not been idle since then. In the meantime, we have a number of permanent beers and a number of seasonal beers, with the necessary attention to new trends in the beer world. We also regularly bring limited, barrel-matured versions of our beers onto the market. Simply because we like to drink them ourselves and because it is fun to do.

In addition, we have now made our own whisky and two of our own gins from the spirit of our beers. In short, a whole range of products to enjoy in moderation.
