Brouwerij Walrave
Brouwerij Walrave or Brouwerij Den Anker is a former brewery in the Belgian municipality of Laarne on the Lepelstraat. The company was founded in 1862 by Auguste Walrave (1812-1888) and initially called Brouwerij Den Anker. The brewery is still owned by the same family and is managed by the fifth generation. The current farm buildings and the castle (1870) of the founder and owner are located on a former homestead. It was previously owned by clerk Guillaume Van der Moere, who had purchased it in 1742.

The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
