Brouwerij Vagebond was founded in 2005 from a passion for craft beers. Started as hobby brewers and after a short break as a VOF, since 2014 a sole proprietorship. The request from the prison museum in Merksplas in 2011, to brew a beer for them, was the push we needed to take the definitive step to our own brewery. A silent dream, to one day do something with our beers, became reality. In the meantime we know what is involved, but it remains a passion for us that we want to continue. Here we still keep everything in our own hands, from brewing to distribution.
