Railway City Brewing Company
Our story began in 2008, with a small location in downtown St.Thomas. We set out to start the brewery, entrenched in the history and folklore from years past. The idea was to create a brewery that honoured the history and heritage of our small industrial town. Over the next 5 years, the craft brewing industry really started to take off and so did the production at the small brewery. The need for additional tanks and production equipment meant a new location was needed. In 2013 the brewery changed locations to its current location 130 Edward Street. Our production facility features a 3 vessel 20HL brewhouse along with 8-40HL and 8-20HL fermentors, canning line, tap room and full retail store.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
