The brewery was founded in 1878 by Josef Diebels in Issum on the Lower Rhine. In 1901, the Diebels Brewery was one of the first to be electrified. The general economic upturn of the post-war years also led to rapid volume growth in Issum. Since 1970, exclusively top-fermented beer specialties have been brewed. Read more...
