One day, a Dutchman named Bob Best arrived in Bohemia, relocated his successful company there, settled down and revived the tradition of brewing beer in Hlízov. He followed in the footsteps of Count Jan Rudolf Chotek, who founded a brewery and distillery at the chateau in 1791. Thanks to Bob’s enthusiasm for producing quality craft beer, you can taste the Dutch beer with Czech tradition.
