The Pod Lípou Brewery in Kyšice near Pilsen is a place where the love of beer, good Czech cuisine and comfortable accommodation come together. The history of this place began in 2010, when Mr. Petr Lang purchased a building on the Kyšice village square and completely renovated it, thus restoring the local inn. In 2012, the idea to build a brewery was brought by Mr. Ing. Norbert Plch, a Kyšice citizen, which led to the establishment of a joint company with the vision of restoring the brewing tradition and creating a space for guest accommodation.
In the spring of 2013, the construction of the brewery began and in October of the same year it was ceremonially opened under the leadership of Mr. brewer Milan Maršálek. After several years, the operation was taken over by the experienced brewer Tomáš Maur, who now brews several types of beers for you. In our inn you can taste four basic types of beer – the draft ten Kyšice Čeledín, the twelve-proof Kyšice lager Sedlák, the semi-dark eleven-proof Kyšice lager Mouřenín and the premium wheat thirteen Kyšice Lanbert. We offer beers for direct consumption, in PET bottles to take home or in KEG barrels for special occasions.
The Pod Lípou Brewery is also an ideal place for your social events. On the first floor there is a stylish lounge with a capacity of 50 people, ideal for corporate training, parties, family celebrations, weddings and other social events. Come and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this place, where traditional Czech hospitality meets quality beer and delicious food.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
