The STRÁŽ Brewery was founded in the former building of the JAS Stráž nad Nežárkou company, which produced wooden toys. The brewery continues the history of brewing beer in Stráž from the mid-16th century to 1926. Since brewing ended almost 100 years ago, the new brewery started with a clean slate. The first idea to build the brewery was born on July 1, 2020, and the first batch of beer saw the light of day on December 1, 2021.
