Aarhus Bryghus is an independent, family-owned microbrewery, established in 2005 in an industrial area in Aarhus South. The brewery bottles beer in large 60 cl bottles and draft beer for sale in shops and restaurants. There is a visitor’s room adjacent to the brewery.

The majority of the beer is sold locally. However, we also sell to several countries in and outside the EU.

The beer is brewed by 8 full-time employees with over 100 years of combined experience in the brewing industry, based on tradition and innovation. We brew beer for enjoyment, beer for sharing, beer for food.

The beer holds from 5 to 12% alcohol, and the range goes from an international lager to India Pale Ale to barrel-aged Imperial Stout.

Part of our beer is brewed for distillation. We make a Spirit of Aarhus and a whiskey liqueur, which are only sold directly from the brewery. August 2016 we launched our first whisky.
