Every year, a wide range of different beers are matured in the tanks of Malmgård Brewery, all of which are united by the desire for balanced, nuanced and deep taste experiences. Our enthusiastic team of professionals brews the beers with great love and careful craftsmanship. Our recipes are based on long experience and our master brewer’s skill in selecting only the best raw materials for our products. We also like to use traditional grains that grow in the fields of Malmgård in our recipes. Our selection includes personal views on new trends in the beer world, as well as products that have become classics and have been made for 15 years. We don’t have to chase after specialties, but can rely on the power of long experience and passion.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
