Gasthaus-Brauerei Ambräusianum
Very young and yet already an old hand Bamberg’s brewery is an integral part of the world cultural heritage. Since 2004, Bamberg has had a new attraction with the Ambräusianum: a real brewery. Ambros Michael Mahr and his wife Heike Görmann fought very successfully through the first few years, which experience shows are always the hardest, and have established themselves in the heart of Bamberg. Both in terms of the situation and in terms of the people. More and more people from Bamberg proudly take their visitors to the brewery gem to prove once again how beautiful their world heritage city is. The Ambräusianum is perfectly located for locals and Bamberg visitors, at the foot of the Imperial Cathedral, in the middle of the Sandgiet.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
