On April 1, 2008, the Ingolstadt-based brewery Herrnbräu acquired the trademark rights to Ingobräu. The brewery site in Ingolstadt’s old town was sold to an Ingolstadt investor and developed with apartments under the name Ingohöfe. Ingobräu is now a brand of BHB Brauholding Bayern-Mitte AG.
