In Franconia, the best inn is always opposite the church. Just like our brewery inn: The Drei Kronen has been located opposite the Memmelsdorf church for more than 560 years. The Franconians have always known that body and soul belong together and that both need to be nurtured.

Thus, the Drei Kronen is a true Franconian brewery inn. A historic property with tradition but modern comforts, always family-friendly and cozy – just like Memmelsdorf itself. Because we, too, are Memmelsdorfers!

We are pleased that you are browsing our website. Here you can learn more about our restaurant, our menu, and our hotel. True hosts – and that’s how we feel – introduce themselves. We, the Hollmann, Mereien, and Straub families, are a young-at-heart family: Swen-Christian Hollmann with his wife Lisanna; Markus Mereien with his wife Isabella and their two children Magdalena and Anton; and Hans-Ludwig Straub with his wife Lieselotte.

Our great-grandparents ran the inn, and over the past 40 years our ancestors have dedicatedly modernized it and developed it into a hotel and brewery inn. In 2016, we, our children Isabella and Lisanna, took over the business with our husbands and are enthusiastically continuing the tradition!
