Pott's Brauerei GmbH
The Pott’s brewery has been a family business for seven generations, which stands for the region with its strong local ties. It was the year 1769 when ancestor Franz Arnold Feldmann first leased the gastronomy and brewery from the nearby Jesuit monastery and shortly afterwards bought it. To this day and in the future, the brewing family Pott lives for a traditional, artisan brewing art.
Our beer specialties are characterized by their naturalness and long, frosty maturation. Only the very best raw materials, if available from local production, go into the brew kettle. Even the water comes from our own “Gesaris spring” and supplies Ice Age mineral water. Crystal clear and free from any environmental pollution, it rises from the depths of the Münster chalk basin, the largest contiguous primeval water reservoir in Europe.
The passion and craftsmanship with which our beers are brewed is reflected in the quality of the beers. No sharp filtration and no pasteurization for a long shelf life – but more nature, more freshness and more taste and of course all brewed according to the German Purity Law. Everything together gives our beer specialties their genuine, fresh and at the same time full taste.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
