It is a clear commitment to the art of brewing old style, when the founder Baron v. HÖVELS was responsible for naming the house brewery HÖVELS. The recipe for HÖVELS ORIGINAL has a tradition of more than 100 years. It is a tasty treat from the past to enjoy this beer in the ambience of the HÖVELS home brewery.
100 years ago, the offered beers were pretty sweet. Since HÖVELS deviated from this general taste trend, the name HÖVELS ORIGINAL was quickly born. After the traditional original recipe using the finest raw materials, the “fine HÖVELS” is brewed again today.
