Raiskumietis Alus
Light and dark beer Raiskumietis is made in Raiskuma parish.
Water, barley malt, granulated hops and yeast are used in the preparation.
The amber color of the beer is given by the wood-burning boiler, as well as the oak tubs used for mashing and fermentation.
Natural sparkle and clarity of beer is obtained in the slow maturation process.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia.
