Ægir Bryggeri & Pub
Welcome to Ægir BryggeriPub in Flåm! On the first floor you will find the pub, while the restaurant is on the second floor. We serve beer and food all year round, and our philosophy – there should be Ægir beer in and with the food – has been a success! Ægir is our own brewery that opened in 2007 and has quickly taken the position as one of the best craft breweries in Norway. It all started with beer, but Ægir also has its own akevit! Ægir BryggeriPub, part of the yard at Flåmsbrygga, is today one of the biggest attractions in Flåm. The building style is inspired by Norse mythology and the exterior reminds the building of a stave church. Inside, you can feel the warmth from the 9-metre-high fireplace, surrounded by dragon heads and walls decorated with driftwood.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
