Kinclaith Distillery
Kinclaith distillery was the last malt whisky distillery to be constructed in the Glasgow area. Kinclaith was dismantled in 1977, less than twenty years after starting production. It is therefore one of the scarcest malts around, with only a few independent bottlings available, all at prices that reflect its rarity. The brand Long John is used for both blended whiskies and vatted malt whiskies.

Malt Whiskey
Because bottlings of Kinclaith are so rare, this single malt whisky commands a high price when a bottle does come up for auction.
