The Glencadam distillery (also known as GlencaRdam) opened in 1825, just one year after distilling on a large scale was legalised. Our elegant and sophisticated Single Malt whisky is still produced in the same fashion as it was in 1825. The entire Glencadam range is non-chill filtered and free from added colouring. This retains the Whisky’s natural characteristics, ensuring aromatic components are preserved to enhance presence and flavour. Glencadam distillery is located about half a mile outside the ancient city of Brechin, in the eastern Highlands of Scotland. We rely on the purest spring water from the Unthank Hills to create our delicate yet refined spirit. Glencadam distillery has been running 24×7 since 2005.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
