Arran Distillery
The first spirit ran from the stills at the Isle of Arran Distillery at 14.29 on 29th June 1995, bringing legal distillation to Arran after more than 150 years. The distillery , nestled in the foothills of the village of Lochranza on the north-west tip of Arran, remains the only whisky producer on the island.
Double distilled from unpeated malt, the Arran Single Malt is matured in both ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks for perfect balance. The result is a fuller bodied dram with a delightful sweet fruity character that shows maturity far beyond its years.
As a proudly independent Scottish company we do not add any artificial colouring to our Single Malt Scotch Whisky and do not chill-filter at the bottling stage.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
