Cedar Mountain Winery

Established in 1990, Cedar Mountain Winery is privately owned by Linda and Earl Ault. Earl has been rated one of the top five port producers in America. Grown on the estate are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet grapes, and all wines are made from local Livermore vineyards.
Spring 2013 Linda and Earl sold their 20 acre property and moved 2.5 miles further East onto Reuss Road off from Tesla Road. It was time to downsize and enjoy semi-retirement! We are currently under construction of a new Winery and Tasting Room. Now on only 2 acres we will buy local grapes for our wines and ports. We are looking forward to opening sometime late December or January 2015. In the mean time we are at Swirl on the Square one weekend per month offering tastings, wine by the glass and bottle.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
