Kalm Cellars

My wine career began at a young age, helping with a family friend’s home winemaking project. Inspired by this experience, I pursued a degree in Wine and Viticulture at Cal Poly, and the rest is history. During my time at Cal Poly, I worked for Kenneth Volk, Orcutt Road Cellars, and Clesi. In 2014, I also was hired as the Cal Poly winemaker.

After graduating, I traveled to Argentina to work a harvest at Vina Cobos in Mendoza. Eventually, I returned to Calistoga, where my journey in winemaking started. Since then, I have worked harvests at Jericho Canyon Vineyards, served as Cellar Lead at Clos Pegase, and have been the Assistant Winemaker at Red Car Wine for the past six years.

KALM is the next step in my winemaking career, allowing me to make my favorite wines and experiment with different varietals that inspire me.
