Rochester Mills Beer Company
The Rochester Mills Beer Co. opened its doors in 1998 and began brewing a wide selection of handcrafted Lagers & Ales for the residents of Rochester, Michigan and the emerging craft beer enthusiast in the surrounding communities. The brewpub is located on Water Street, just two blocks east of Downtown Rochester’s Main Street in the historic Western Knitting Mill. Preserving the original character of the building, the brewpub features original hardwood floors, columns, beams and exposed brick walls. The Pub’s menu features a broad selection of eclectic American cuisine, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. From delectable appetizers, fresh salads, pizzas and pastas to delicious entrees and unique sandwiches, the menu has something for everyone, even the kids. Special amenities include an outdoor patio, pool tables, and live entertainment every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. In 2012 they expanded operations and opened a Production Brewery just five miles down the road in Auburn Hills to take the beers beyond the brewpub. Today you can find the beers of Rochester Mills on draft and packaged in 16 oz. cans across Michigan and beyond.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
