Alibi Ale Works - Brewery and Barrel House
Our original taproom – the Barrel House – at our production brewery in Incline Village, is a comfortable and cozy space for people to gather and relax. With beautifully crafted indoor and outdoor spaces, it’s also a great place to book for your next private event or a private brewery tour & tasting! Our brewers curate a draft and bottle list of their favorite beers, and there are often a few Barrel House-exclusive beers here. We offer beers by the glass, flights, and plenty of to-go options: cans, bottles, crowlers and growlers. We also serve wine, cider, and our house-brewed n/a kombucha. We have awesome Alibi merchandise for sale, including gift cards. And although we don’t operate a kitchen, you are welcome to bring your own food or order in from one of the many restaurants in the neighborhood. We recommend T’s Mesquite Rotisserie and Inclined Burgers. As a friendly reminder, we are a 21+ establishment. Due to Washoe County regulations, dogs are not allowed on our property, so please leave your furry friends at home.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
