You can enjoy the craft cocktails along with Lakeward Spirits’ new “Wild Gin” and with Lakeward’s signature, all-grain “Grain Canyon Vodka”, “Inland Sea Rum” (WNY’s first authentic rum), and “Evergreen Gin” at the craft distillery’s TASTING ROOM & STORE.
The tasting room has a bar and lounge area constructed with reclaimed wood and other materials, plus a 2-level outdoor patio, and a separate four-season upstairs terrace. Craft cocktails, craft beer from Pressure Drop Brewing made onsite, NYS wine & hard cider, kombucha made onsite, gifts, and gift certificates are available.
Food is also NOW available in the Tasting Room from the NEW restaurant, Buffalo’s Best Cucina, located onsite as well!
Buffalo’s largest craft distillery, featuring sustainable practices, spirit production from scratch, & Made-In-USA equipment, also has TOURS available daily!
Happy Hour on Thurs./Fri./Sat. at 5 to 6 PM with $5 craft cocktails! Banquets and receptions can be arranged in the upstairs Event Center.

Lakeward Spirits is located at The Barrel Factory, the landmark, newly-restored, 115-year-old factory in Buffalo’s Old First Ward. In the shadow of Buffalo’s historic grain elevators along the legendary Buffalo River.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
