Wartega Brewing

Wartega is a family run brewery, and the brainchild of head brewer, Merlin U Ward and wife Mimi Ortega. Despite his German heritage, Merlin brews Wartega beers with delicious combinations of ingredients. Historical beers from all around the world used fruits, herbs and spices to create beverages that built civilizations. Merlin takes these ancient ingredients and culinary inspiration to produce beer with bold flavors.
Great beer goes without saying! Ingredients aren’t added for the sake of being strange or gimmicky. Rather, they are added to make bold beers with delicious, nuanced flavors that are designed to be enjoyed over and over again.
