Wy'East Vineyards
Wy’East Vineyards produces hand crafted wines from estate grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay grapes & also sources fruit from top notch vineyards in the region. From the harvest, crush and barrel aging — it all takes place at our facility. Our tasting room’s patio is an ideal setting for a glass of wine and a picnic lunch with friends and family while overlooking the east hills, our waterfall and pond. We are also pet friendly! Let vineyards and grazing horses fill your view — not the parking lot. Enjoy a glass of wine on our comfortable couches or cozy up to the bar and chat with our knowledgeable and friendly staff. We have two beautiful Bocce courts. We always love seeing familiar faces, and meeting new friends!

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
