Rowhouse Spirits is a Pennsylvania “Limited Distillery” located in Philadelphia. All products are distilled and bottled on site in our East Kensington distillery.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.

Here's what we are making right now -

Poitin - a white whisky made with 100% malted barley and distilled twice through our pot still. Poitin is bottled at 96 proof in 750ml bottles.

Price: $30.25 per 750ml bottle

Gin - Rowhouse Spirits Gin is a full flavored but smooth drinking Gin made using 100% pure spirits distilled from grain. Taste-wise, our Gin starts out with the bright juniper, which gives way to a gingery/peppery middle, and finishes with citrus and cinnamon. Rowhouse Spirits Gin is distilled through our hybrid still and is bottled at 96 proof in 750ml bottles.

Price - $30.25 per 750ml bottle

Bear Trap - an herbal liqueur made with 19 distinct herbs including five fresh herbs added after distillation. Bear Trap is slightly sweet with a flavor that starts with anise and finishes with an herbal zing.

Price: $35.00 per 750ml bottle

Coming Soon - in 2015 we will be releasing a Rum, barrel-aged Gin, and a fruit Brandy. Stay tuned for more info.

Tastings are available during retail hours - reservations are not required for tastings but we have a very small facility - so first come first served.
Private group tours are available on Sundays and Mondays - these are by appointment only. Please contact us to arrange a tour for your group.
