Grégoire and Max, friends since high school, met a few years ago over a drink and decided to take on two challenges. Run the Marathon des Sables and brew their own beer. The first challenge was achieved. After running several marathons and trails over several years, Max ran the Marathon des Sables in 2016. Unfortunately, the first time, Grégoire was unable to participate, but the dream did not go away, and maybe one day, they will be able to run it together. Having achieved the first goal, it was necessary to focus on the second. Between running sessions, Grégoire and Max took their first steps in the world of brewing. At first, they only brewed once a month and little by little, they managed to brew once a week. Their beer got better with each brew and they found it shameful not to share their creation with a greater number of people. From that moment on, they decided to create their own brewery. So they formed their company in 2017 and in May of that year, their first beer “la saison de Bruxelles” started to be marketed. As their passion for beer grew and they mastered more and more the power of the yeast in their brews, they started to look into other fermentations. At first, they looked for old recipes that they experimented with cider and other original fermentations. Which led them to the success of Amarilis on the market, a naturally fermented drink based on subtle touches of elderflower. They are currently working on other fermentation brews to revolutionize the market.
