Minipivovárek Koňovárek
In May 2018, a new MINIBREWERY KOŇOVÁREK will open in the Koníček Brewery complex. We will not only brew various specials, but we will also offer those interested the opportunity to brew their own original beer!
RECIPE: The customer creates the beer recipe themselves, after consulting with the brewer or maltster. We will do our best to meet your requirements and ideas while adhering to chemical-technological procedures and principles of beer production. The volume of one batch is approximately 250 to 280 liters. brewery Supervision of brewing is provided by the brewer or maltster of the Koníček Brewery, with extensive professional experience in brewing.
PACKAGING: The initial consultation will also include a specification of the “packaging”, i.e. how many liters of beer will be bottled into KEG barrels (15, 30 and 50 liters), 5l barrels or 0.75, into PET bottles (1 or 1.5 liters). Everything can be supplied with your own label (beer name, your own motif) and a cardboard carrier. We also offer photo documentation and video recording. Based on the consultation, the final price will be calculated – see below. We recommend holding a “consultation day” no later than 6 weeks before the start of brewing.
PRICE: The basic (minimum) price is based on a light lager of 11%, bottled only into KEG barrels. The final price of your chosen beer then depends on the strength, color of the beer (malt used), hopping (amount and type of hops used) and the like (special natural dyes, honey, etc.) and of course on the choice of brewery transport packaging (PET, glass, labels, cardboard boxes…) – see the attached price list on page 2.
WHERE IS IT BREWED?: The actual brewing of beer takes place at the Koňovárek Minipivovárk (Koníčkův Dvůr, Vojkovice 49, 739 51 Dobrá, www.konickuv-dvur.cz) on a previously agreed and binding date and after payment of an advance invoice of 11 thousand crowns (the basic price includes brewing 11% lager, poured into a KEG). After payment of the advance invoice, a voucher will be issued, which will entitle the owner to start consultations on the form (type of beer, strength, packaging, label) of the beer and the actual brewing. The already paid advance invoice will then be deducted from the total amount. The beer will be handed over at the agreed date at the ramp. Koňovárek will start operations in May 2018.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?: The actual production time in the brewery takes about 8 hours. Before starting production, the brewer will be trained according to health and safety principles and equipped with the necessary clothing and protective equipment. The process will also include tasting the beers that are currently maturing in lager tanks, so you can also taste beers that other “brewers” have brewed before you. The beer then ferments for 7 days, then it is stored in tanks for up to 30 days (depending on the type of beer). Beer brewing therefore needs to start about 40 days before the date of packaging and shipment from the Koňovárek Minibrewery.
