Beer has a special place in the hearts of Alsatians and is one of the most famous and recognized products of our region and our heritage.
Between our walls, it is since 1746 that one speaks about beer, hops and malt.
Founded by Jean Hatt, at 22 rue des Veaux, the Esperance brewery remained active until 1863 and closed its doors. After more than a century of sleep, beer making began again in 1991 and the establishment was reopened to the public under the name Au Brasseur.
In an effort to preserve tradition and perpetuate ancestral know-how, 20 years later, we continue to develop and produce all our beers ourselves.
Freshly brewed on the spot, in the respect of the so-called “high” fermentation tradition, all our beers are 100% pure malt and hops.
Unfiltered and unpasteurized to preserve all their richness of taste, they are shot live from the vat in your glass.
Good tasting !
