After 30 years of experience as a gourmet chef around the globe, our master distiller Johannes Müller-Herold has been devoting himself to the “alchemical” art of distilling since 2008.
In our factory we question the traditional distillation of schnapps and constantly improve quality and processes using the latest distillation technology right up to the final product in the bottle. High-quality ingredients, sustainable production and craftsmanship know-how are tangible values ​​for us.
We send you on a culinary journey with extraordinary creations such as “elderberry-chocolate-chilli liqueur” or “currant-butterscotch liqueur”. A three-course menu in a glass where you can taste and experience the ingredients one after the other. Simply surprisingly good.
Of course, you will also find Alemannic whiskey alongside our classics such as gold-colored Williams Christ pear brandy, Black Forest kirsch, blood root and the legendary Zibärtle brandy. Guaranteed to be twice distilled – everything protected for years and gently matured in oak barrels or earthenware barrels.

Caroline Porsiel is a master distiller and liqueurist based in East Ellijay, Georgia. She founded House of Applejay, a fine spirits and liqueur distillery, in 2022 with her mother, Sabine, crafting award-winning products like Applejay from Ellijay, Mt. Frozen Knob Vodka, and Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. The distillery won a 2024 Best of Georgia Award and a 2025 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur. As a founding member of the AMBRU Campaign, launched in 2020, Porsiel advocates for the global recognition of American Brandy and Rum. She continues to drive innovation in the craft spirits industry from her active distillery in the heart of Georgia’s apple country.
