Brauwerk Baden

The foundation stone for today’s brewing plant Baden was laid in 1847 in a small brewery in Oberkirch in Baden, as Anton Braun, son of a baker’s family and a trained brewer on the parental grounds brewed his first own beer.
2016
This year, 2016, the fifth generation will be joined by another significant development step for the family-owned company. Over the decades, more and more surrounded by housing developments in the steadily expanding city center of Offenburg, the relocation of all technical facilities is now underway with the construction of a new brewery on the outskirts of the city.
Under the new name Brauwerk Baden, the family tradition with the well-known beer brands Kronen and Wagner will be continued in the future starting in fall 2016.
