Since 1634, the Paulaner Brewery has been an integral part of Munich’s culture, tradition and history. At that time, the Paulaner monks in Kloster Neudeck ob der Au began to brew beer in order to bridge Lent and soon provided the people of Munich with their tasty beer.

About 700 employees work for the success of the Paulaner brewery, which is still located in the middle of Munich, in the district of Haidhausen-Au on the Nockherberg. More than two million hectoliters of beer leave the company every year. The Paulaner brewery exports its products to over 70 countries and knows how to remain a true traditional Munich company.
