Brauerei C. & A. Veltins GmbH & Co.
In 1824, a small brewery in Grevenstein began to brew beer according to the German Purity Law. Over 190 years later, one of the most modern private breweries in Europe presents itself: the brewery C. & A. VELTINS.
The basis of this unique success story of the company, which has been run by the Veltins family for five generations, is investment power, entrepreneurial vision and a corporate culture that is characterized by team spirit and the highest quality standards. Thus, until today, the premium beer is brewed exclusively from the highest quality ingredients – malt, hops, yeast and purest spring water – strictly according to the Purity Law of 1516. The water that springs in the mountains around Grevenstein is exceptionally soft. This is an essential reason for VELTINS to brew only beer according to the Pilsener brewing method since 1926: VELTINS Premium Pilsener.
However, the success story started much earlier. In 1852, the founding father Clemens Veltins took over a small farming brewery in Grevenstein in Upper Sauerland, where he supplied 150 hectoliters of beer a year, as well as many in-person bars in addition to the in-house guests. Since 1994, Susanne Veltins has been the fifth generation to continue the successful history of the brewery C. & A. VELTINS.
