Karuizawa distillery was a Japanese whisky distillery located at Miyota, a town on the southern slopes of an active volano, Mount Asama, in Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture. At ist time it was the smallest Distillery in Japan and it was mothballed in 2000. The distillery was demolished in 2011 and the property sold in 2012.
