The brewery “Aldaris” dates back to 1865, when the Waldschlösschen Brewery was built on the outskirts of Riga after the idea of the Bavarian German Joachim Dauder. Aldaris is one of the few breweries in Latvia, which is located in its historic site and has kept beer brewing traditions up to the present day. 20th century At the beginning, Waldschlösschen had gained the fame of Europe’s most renowned brewery, as evidenced by the Congress of European Beer makers organized in 1906 in Riga. Aldara was named in a public poll in 1937, in which 3339 people participated.
