KrügelBIER was installed in 2008 by Urs Krügel and Reto Martinelli. Since then, the beers are getting better and better and currently there are twelve different beers in the assortment. All beers are top-fermented, naturally cloudy, unfiltered and unpasteurised, guaranteed to be handmade and bottled in disposable glass bottles. The COLOR CODE of the bottle cap also reveals the contents of the bottle – every beer has a different lid. The best way to consume the exclusive beers is within six to eight weeks of the bottling day (thanks to bottle fermentation, a much longer enjoyment). The beers are quite hard to obtain because they are so good and rare.
