Innerspace Brewing Company is the collaboration of a beer loving family. Following the well trodded path of many successful breweries, we have made the leap from home brewers to commercial brewing. We are a family owned and operated micro brewery located in Huntsville, AL, the space capital. Our city is home to Redstone Arsenal, The US Space and Rocket Center, NASA ISS Command, the Marshall Space Flight Center and multiple private space organizations. We have always been fascinated with the science of space flight and galactic exploration. We feel that what makes good beers are the same things that makes space flight possible: Great People, Good Science, and a Sense of Adventure.
A family vacation touring breweries in Munich, Germany in 2009 planted the seed of our own small brewery. Upon returning home we began our new hobby, home brewing and learning the science and art of producing great beers. The changing legal landscape around breweries in our state led to more involved discussions at family gatherings about the possibility of owning a craft brewery. The pieces slowly fell into place and in December of 2016 we started InnerSpace Brewing Company.
InnerSpace Brewing Company is a space, sci-fi and tech themed brewery focusing on farmhouse and session ales . We offer a wide range of beer styles from century old traditional ones to modern examples created right in house. We strive to use locally sourced ingredients when possible and are always experimenting to bring you the best beer we can.
We welcome you into our tasting room through the space station bay door and into a 1700 sq ft seating area adorned with a variety of space and sci-fi artifacts and decorations. If fresh air is what you need we have just the places for you. Enjoy the shade and outdoor games in our biergarten. Be sure to look up to find the solar system floating above you. Out front you will find a European bistro patio, perfect for a friendly gathering with friends old and new.
